Our Mission
The Anacortes Family Center‘s mission is to serve homeless women, children, and families in crisis by providing shelter in addition to comprehensive transformational services to achieve long lasting personal success and self-sufficiency, and to prevent homelessness in our community through advocacy and by providing affordable housing options.
How We Do It
AFC's wrap-around services include:

identifying barriers and set short- and long-term goals

creating a household budget

helping clients secure employment

providing life skills and "rent ready" classes

providing mental health services
-
supporting children academically and mentally
Our Impact
In 2024, 88% of clients graduated successfully, meaning they found safe, permanent housing and employment​
